Recently, I had the incredible honor of hosting a panel at the Web 3.0 Fashion Research Cluster at De Montfort University. Together with talented individuals like Christie L. and Tilda Eriksson, we delved into the challenges and opportunities of digital fashion- an exhilarating discussion that left us feeling liberated and connected on important issues like inclusivity, sustainability, and diversity.
But that's not all. The real magic of the experience was having the privilege to hear and question industry leaders such as Clare Tattersall, Leslie Holden of The Digital Fashion Group, Jaron Rowan from BAU, Centro Universitario de Diseño, and the incredible insights shared by Melody Uyanga Ramsay and Thomas Rothery. Their wealth of knowledge and experiences truly helped shape our understanding of the space.

Speaking on the radio at NGX’s Innovation Week between the 24th and the 28th of July was a great opportunity to take a deep dive into the fascinating world of biodesign. We covered a wide range of topics, from becoming nature literate to exploring solar punk aesthetics and the concept of more-than-human design!
Hosted by Field Notes, a cultural research and creative innovation community nestled in the heart of London, I had the pleasure of engaging in a thought-provoking conversation with a group of exceptional designers and artists. This 'lunch and learn' brain teaser of the day provided a platform to explore cutting-edge ideas and the intersection between nature, design, and innovation.
Together, we delved into the wonders of biodesign, uncovering its potential to transform the world around us. From creating sustainable materials inspired by nature to envisioning a future where humans and the environment coexist harmoniously, we left no stone unturned.

USW Biodesign 101 workshop
Workshop Host - 2023
As part of my ongoing effort to promote biodesign, I recently hosted an engaging workshop at the University of South Wales with 40 participants. We explored the fundamentals of biodesign, its importance, and how it can be applied in daily life.
During the workshop, we discussed leading brands and products in biodesign, showcasing the diverse ways this field positively impacts society and the environment. We also conducted hands-on exercises, including growing mycelium composites, creating algae dyes, and experimenting with kombucha materials.
The participants' curiosity and enthusiasm were inspiring, and I provided guidance to help them continue exploring biodesign in their lives.
